Renovation & Wheelchair Ramps
Ramps, other improvements provide accessibilityUnited Neighbors' Wheelchair Ramps and Accessibility program has nearly doubled in size this year, due to an increase in Davenport CDBG funding. We expect to provide ramps, railings, grab bars, showers and other items that improve mobility for over 30 persons with disabilities. On a limited basis, the program has been installing wheelchair accessible showers for qualified persons. Requirements are that one must live in Davenport, be of low to moderate-income, and the project must be feasible with regard to space and funds available. Call Paul at 322-7363 to learn more. |
