|
Participants in DREAM typically receive $1000 toward their down payment. You must meet HUD's moderate income guidelines (e.g., less than $31,450/year for na single person household, and less than $44,950 for a 4-person houselhold.) Eventually, you must qualify for a loan from a bank or mortgage company. Also, you must attend our homebuyer education classes, which are held Monday evenings at 7 p.m., and occasionally on Saturdays. Five Monday evenings or two half-day Saturdays are required. You can just come any Monday -- to United Neighbors, 808 Harrison, Davenport. Or, if you prefer Saturdays, call 322-7363 and ask about the next Saturday classes. We can also send you a DREAM brochure! This year, DREAM participants will have two options:
