Housing Counseling

Since 2001, United Neighbors has been a HUD-approved Housing Counseling Agency. We assist homeowners who are facing possible foreclosure by providing information and guidance as to the options that are available.

We also assist homeowners 62 years old and older who may benefit from a reverse mortgage - a Home Equity Conversion Mortgage. This allows homeowners to tap into the equity in their homes, in order to provide a lifetime monthly income.

And, through our DREAM program, we provide regular home buyer education classes. Those are nearly every Monday evening at 7 p.m. at our office. We occasionally hold half-day Saturday classes. Five Monday evenings or two half-day Saturdays will complete the course.
