UP COMING E V E N T S 2 0 1 0	April 15,2010	United Neighbors Neighborhood Leadership Appreciation Ceremony Will be held at the LULAC 4224 Ricker Hill Road Davenport, IA from 6pm to8pm . The purpose of this celebration is to give recognition to the people that head our neighborhood watch groups and give so much to our city, provide a forum for leaders to exchange practices, talk of challenges they may face and fellowship with other community minded Davenport residents. Trophies,certificates and prizes will be given to groups that have made that extra effort keeping our neighborhood safer for our families to grow, work and play.

May 15,2010	CLEANSWEEP United Neighbors will conduct its annual neighborhood cleanup Saturday June 15,2010 starting at 8:30am in conjunction with neighborhood associations, watch groups and churches from across the city. Free lunch will be served to participants at UNI agency afterward.
May 22,2010	2010 Tennis Block Party The event is free and open to the public. Tennis Block Parties offers attendees a day of free tennis, interactive games and attractions,and the opportunity to learn and enjoy the benefits of the game from fun and competition, to lifestyle and fitness. Location: Central High School Tennis Courts - Registration from 9am-11am
June14,2010	Our Summer Parks Program Summer Parks Program will continue to go full strength at three parks throughout the summer Emeis, Harrington and Cork Hill. starting June 14th and conclude on July 16th. It is open to children between the ages of 5 thru 12. Activities will take place beginning June 14,2010 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you have questions or would like to register your children,call us at 322-7363.
June 19,2010	Juneteenth, a celebration of liberty commemorating the freeing of the slaves during.The family-oriented event will be at Le Claire Park.
